Highschool Australia launches English Website for its successful work and travel program. The program, previously sold exclusively in Germany, is now available internationally on www.work-n-travel-australia.com.
Background for the Work and Travel Programm of Highschool Australia – a certified Brisban based education agency – is as follows: Australia grants more than 100,000 Working Holiday Visas every year, which are a must have for work and travel Down Under. With almost half of these visas issued to participants from the United Kingdom it makes this country the number 1 for visitors. As many of them do not only want to travel but also work along the coasts and in the major cities jobs and affordable accommodation in these areas become rare while living costs are at their highest.
Anne Stewart, director of Highschool Australia, explains: “It is much wiser to separate Work from Travel. There are thousands of farms in the Hinterland and Outback of Australia looking not only for seasonal workers but help all year round whilst paying well and usually including meals and accommodation. That”s why we”re offering this special farm work program for work and travel.”
The farm work program includes three days at the coast to overcome jetlag followed by 5 days of preparation on a training farm that gets the participants familiar with and trained up to the basic skills needed for farm work. During that time available jobs from over 1800 employers in rural Australia come in offering work on farms, horse facilities, in hotels and roadhouses. During the one year duration of the program participants can choose how much they want to work and travel, having the security of guaranteed work.
The highlights of the work and travel program are:
-Training for farm work
-Wages starting at the minimum industry standard, increasing in accordance to skills
-Help with all administration and formalities
-24/7 emergency number for the whole period of Working Holiday
-Potential to extend the Working Holiday to two years Bildquelle:kein externes Copyright
