Berlin, September 17, 2019 – Infotecs, an international cyber security provider, will be presenting its ViPNet cybersecurity and threat intelligence platform at it-sa, the IT security expo and congress that will take place from October 8th to October 10th, 2019, in Nuremberg, Germany. Security experts will present their solutions based on specific use cases in such fields as industry 4.0, critical infrastructure protection and secure drone video transfer for special forces units.
The growing complexity of threats and larger surface areas of attacks are making it more difficult for companies to protect their infrastructures and operational systems. Cyber criminals constantly develop newer, more sophisticated methods while making their cyber attacks more difficult to identify for as long as possible. A complete IT security and protection strategy is of the utmost importance in today’s world.
At the beginning of October, Infotecs will present its IT security solutions at it-sa fair in Nuremberg, Germany — from classic network security, mobile security and threat intelligence to security solutions for industry, critical infrastructures, physical and IoT security. ViPNet Threat Detection and Response is one of the solutions to be presented. It integrates complementary technologies by combining a classical approach to signature & rule-based threat detection with heuristical machine-learning methods. Consequently, suspicious incidents and anomalies are detected both at the network level and on the end points. Potential risks are detected in real time, significantly eliminating the threats of cyber attacks against an IT infrastructure.
“Due to digital transformation, software-defined security solutions, which can flexibly react to new and changing requirements to data and system security, become increasingly important”, says Josef Waclaw, CEO of Infotecs GmbH. ”ViPNet Threat Detection and Response detects existing and potential security breaches, as well as reacts immediately to acute risks. It can be deployed in addition to already existing systems, which provides high investment protection for companies.“
After only a few years since it started, it-sa has become one of the most significant IT security fairs worldwide. In 2018, the fair gathered approximately 700 participants from 27 countries. Alongside IT security solutions and such key topics as cloud security, mobile security, encryption, IT compliance, and biometrics, the fair also highlights such topics as network security, antivirus protection, and basic IT protection. A wide range of offers, multiple special areas, and Congress@it-sa offer experts an opportunity to discuss the most popular IT security topics.
