Three new top executives coming on board

Hamburg, 26 September 2011 – Success makes you more attractive: Three experienced experts have decided to come and work at the Hamburg internet translation agency Tolingo from the 1st of October. These include the localisation specialist Sandra Lienenbröker (41), who is coming to the Elbe from Google Dublin to take over the management of the operations team. The second newcomer is Martin Schmidt (36), who brings along industry experience from performing international roles at thebigword and Lionbridge. He will be managing Tolingo“s sales department in future. And finally, Uwe Bartsch (38) is coming on board as the new VP Technology. He will make use of his experiences gained at Langenscheidt and Kabel Deutschland for the orientation of the engineering at Tolingo.

For Hanno von der Decken, founder and Managing Director of Tolingo, the three new appointments mean „a significant strengthening of the competence of our management team“. By bringing on board Sandra Lienenbröker, Martin Schmidt and Uwe Bartsch, the company has attracted a trio „that will help us forge ahead strongly“.

Martin Schmidt“s main aim at the company of „translation professionals at the water front“ is to optimise and expand the sales processes „according to the requirements of strategic customers“, to foster permanent relationships with key customers „and to respond more precisely to specific industry requirements“. Schmidt has a degree in translation and used to work as a self-employed translator specialising in marketing; he also has experience in the areas of global project management, key account management and solution-oriented sales to key customers. Uwe Bartsch applauds the „spirit“ at Tolingo: „There is a consistent vision as well as scope for creativity and spontaneity.“ He would like to increase the company“s visibility in markets outside Germany as well and ensure „that the Tolingo quality will be used as a good example for new standards“. Sandra Lienenbröker would like to do her bit to ensure that Tolingo will offer even more professionally tailored services in future, „which will also be a joy to be involved with for the translators and the Tolingo staff“. Hanno von der Decken is sure: „We have strengthened the company with three genuine top talents. And that is what you need when you operate at the very top in the champions league of your industry as we do.“
