Sari twist to ‘Baahubali’

bahu Sari twist to ‘Baahubali’

(Photo:short cocktail dresses)Anything Baahubali is news, says a colleague. Indeed it is. So much so that there is meme on social media that goes ‘Did you know that you can watch Baahubali 2 without mentioning it on facebook?’ Right.

Elsewhere, whatsapp users woke up on Monday morning to forwards of two ladies wearing a Baahubali sari — a sari with a still showing Anushka and Prabhas in an action sequence from the movie. Quite naturally, that photograph went viral. Later that day, there appeared another photograph of a group of ladies wearing similar saris.

That didn’t stop there. When Anushka and Prabhas have found their way to a sari print, how could Tamannah be left behind? An ad from brand of Jaju saris had the print of a warrior Tamannah. The sari almost looked like the storyboard of Baahubali: The Conclusion. Inquisitive about where these saris are bought from, I turned to the internet. Turns out that there existed a Bahubali sari brand long even before Baahubali-the begining was conceptualised. That brand has nothing to do with the movie or the saris with prints of the movie still. Search any popular shopping website for Baahubali saris and what will come up are Saris from Bahubali Prints Pvt. ltd. Their website says, “since its inception in the year 1994”. Well it may have been around for long,. but it’s suddenly attracted the attention of people now, thanks to the blockbuster movie.Read more at:year 12 formal dresses
