The extraordinary conditions which can be found in indoor swimming pools are very demanding for ceiling systems: They need to be corrosion-resistant, hygienic and easy to clean. Apart from their functionality, they have to meet even the highest demands on design.

Due to high air temperatures in indoor swimming pools, the risk of corrosion is significantly increased. Damage to the structure of the building, especially to carrying metal constructions of suspended ceilings, can be a result of the humid air in indoor swimming pools. An efficient corrosion prevention coating for ceiling constructions is Lindners´ solution for this problem. This purpose-made functional coating provides reliable protection of corrosion on the ceiling and its substructure. Thanks to the certified coating, swimming pool ceilings offer high resistance against any sort of damage, the influence of salt water and chloride-containing air.
Renovation. Querenburg indoor swimming pool.
In the course of a renovation project, Lindner installed the corrosion-protected and impact-resistant expanded metal ceiling system LMD-St 213 BWS at the indoor swimming pool in Querenburg. This system offers not only reliable protection against corrosion, but also a certified impact safety according to EN 13964 Attachment D Class A.

This ceiling construction shows modern design. Despite its robustness, it is uniquely filigree and transparent. Additional fittings with integrated impact-resistant luminaires make for: certified safety and a neatly coordinated ceiling design.
