‚He’s too hot!‘ Sofia Vergara leaves boyfriend Joe Manganiello at home as she heats up the 2014 Emmys red carpet solo
They are Hollywood’s hottest new couple, but it seems Joe Manganiello may be just a little too hot for Sofia Vergara.
It was thought the 42-year-old actress and her 37-year-old beau would make their relationship red carpet official at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California, on Monday.
However, Sofia stepped out solo saying the True Blood was far too good looking to come with her.
She told E! News‘ Giuliana Rancic: ‚He’s really hot; that’s why I didn’t bring him.
‚He’s too hot and too tall. He takes up a lot of space. I’m like, “Listen, Joe, please, don’t go.“

While she posed by herself on the carpet, she was not all alone however, with her son Manolo joining her for the actual awards.
If Joe was watching at home, he would have been kicking himself that he was not by the Modern Family side.
The 42-year-old brought her usually sexy red carpet style to the Emmys wearing a skin tight white Roberto Cavalli gown.
Featuring a structured strapless top and silver detailing which exaggerated her already impressive curves.
Her curves became the centre of attention during the Awards as the star introduced Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bruce Rosenblum.
To spice up his annual speech he got the Modern Family star to stand on a rotating pedestal, which spun around showing off her amazing figure.
Joe and Sofia have been enjoying a never ending series of dates, spotted at a Lady Gaga concert, on holiday in Florida, and various casual outings but the television awards ceremony is their first industry event as an official couple.
The 37-year-old True Blood star recently admitted he ‚could have got in a fight‘ with Vergara’s ex-fiancé.
He acknowledged he couldn’t resist admiring the 42-year-old’s rear when they first met at the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington DC shortly before she split from Nick Loeb in May.
After being shown a photograph of himself getting caught checking her out at the event, the heartthrob told E! News: ‚Come on, you can’t put that in front of me, what am I supposed to do, I’m not going to apologise.
‚Yeah, I totally got busted. That was actually funny when we first started dating, months after that. We had talked I guess or kind of bumped into each other, but we didn’t start dating until she was single,‘ Joe said.
‚I mean she had a boyfriend at that time, so I probably could have got in a fight for doing that. I’m not trying to start a fight at the White House,‘ he added.
He jokingly continued: ‚I mean if that walks in front of you, it’s liked the Pied Piper, you just follow it. It’s a moment of sin and you don’t know what you’re doing.‘
Joe is currently preparing for his upcoming role as a stripper in Magic Mike 2 and Sofia has been reaping the benefits.
‚Well you know, I need to practice getting ready for Magic Mike 2,‘ Joe confided.
The actress recently admitted she is ‚having a great time‘ with Joe.
‚It’s a special time in my life, and I’m trying not to think too much about it. It’s something very new, so we will see what happens,‘ Sofia said.
Sofia was engaged to Nick but the pair ended their romance in May after the White House dinner.
Joe and Sofia have since taken their relationship public, with cosy lunch and dinner dates all over town.
