From September 26 – 27, 2013, we.CONECT invited an international audience of SLM and SAM professionals, team leaders and license managers from the following departments: Business Development, Corporate Purchasing, Procurement & Corporate Services and Asset and License Management to the Software Asset Management Strategies Europe 2013 conference in Berlin.
More than 100 attendees gathered to discuss current challenges, new approaches and future trends in the field of software asset management strategies. Participants, speakers and business partners took part in a highly interactive conference and used the opportunity to discuss experiences, to network, benchmark and exchange ideas and best practices.
In 2013, the SAMS Europe Award 2013 was given to outstanding SAM and SLM projects and innovations from companies all around the world. The winners were Deutsche Post DHL and its project Group Wide License Management, HCL Technologies with the implementation of Software Asset Management across HCL and Century Link and the application CenturyLink Qwest Merger.
