On September 22nd and 23rd, 2014 the Open Source Backup Conference will take place in Cologne. The organizers are now announcing the final line up.

The OSBConf – originally named “Bacula Conference” is taking place every year since 2009 in the Rhine city. The leading conference on backup will take place on two days for the first time this year on September 22nd and 23rd.
After a successful call for papers, the program is now determined. This year´s headliner will be Marco van Wieringen with his talk about „Backup to and of the Cloud“, Martin Gerhard Loschwitz with „Bakups with Ceph: The real deal“ and Dave Simons talking about „Automating backup provisioning with Bacula and Puppet“.
Also well-known companies like dass IT, gocept or Max-Planck-Institut will give an account of their approach to backup at their company.
In addition to the talks on the second day, a workshop and a hands-on training will be provided on the first day, which are included in the ticket price. Attendees will have the choice between the Bareos introductional workshop and an advanced stage hacking workshop.
