MicroAd Singapore Establishes A Local Subsidiary „MicroAd Korea“ To Launch Ad Platform Business In South Korea

Singapore, August 27, 2014 – MicroAd Singapore Pte. Ltd. (CEO: Kentaro Watanabe; hereinafter referred to as „MicroAd Singapore“), a leading Online Ad Platform company in Asia-Pacific (APAC), has established a local subsidiary, „MicroAd Korea, Inc.“ (hereinafter referred to as „MicroAd Korea“), to launch its Ad Platform business in South Korea, as part of its significant expansion plan in the APAC region.

MicroAd Korea is introducing „MicroAd BLADE“, an integrated management platform for online display advertisements, to the advertisers and agencies in South Korea. MicroAd BLADE has proven successes in maximizing advertisers’ return on investment (ROI) through its highly precise targeting and Real-Time Bidding (RTB) system. When the online market in South Korea has witnessed astonishingly rapid growth, the online advertising technology, such as Online Ad Platform, is undergoing relatively low penetration. Yet, a recent study by MAGNA GLOBAL shows that the country’s total programmatic spend will be the highest in developing Asia this year whereas its RTB spend will continue to rise and dominate in the region with a market share of 31% by 2018 (Chart 1), leading it to be a non-negligible market opportunity for MicroAd.
