The world’s leading community of supply chain management professionals in the biopharma industry will come together on October 23-24 for the 7th annual conference of the Bio Supply Management Alliance (BSMA) in Foster City, California. The conference will enable supply chain professionals engaged in R&D, strategic sourcing, clinical supply and operations, commercialization, manufacturing and logistics.

The Bio Supply Management Alliance was founded on the basic premise that collaboration among the manufacturers and their suppliers across the board will significantly increase productivity, quality and safety of drugs. The theme of 2014 Annual Conference to be held on October 23-24 in Foster City, California at the Crowne Plaza Hotel is „Biotech Manufacturer Supplier Collaboration: Reducing Cost, Lead Time and Defects“.

The two-day conference will have the Plenary Sessions in the afternoon of October 23, consisting of the challenges and solutions to advance the efficacy of the global supply chain of the biopharma industry, and Multiple Tracks on the next day to address the critical areas of strategic sourcing and suppliers relations, clinical supply, virtual supply chain, information technology as the Holy Grail, risk mitigation, cold chain, SCM talent development, emerging markets and governmental compliance.
