Sometimes it is necessary to weld inside of pipes or in areas which are difficult to access. For the high-performance TIG technology InFocus, Kjellberg now offers the InFocus T500 IN torch with a torch head that is bent by 90°. Thus, welding inside of pipes with an inner diameter from 40 mm is made possible, for example when an even weld surface is required inside the pipe.
Kjellberg already offers torches with a capacity of 500 A and 1000 A as straight versions. Especially the compact design of the InFocus 500 torch has proven its value on many occasions for welding with limited access to the weld seam. The new torch will now further enhance this advantage.
The specific characteristics of the high-focussed arc make the welding torches carriers of the InFocus technology. Further, the defined position of the cathode tip ensures a constant TCP (tool center point). Kjellberg thus offers a high-performance TIG technology for welding and soldering which can easily be automated and expands the application areas of TIG welding considerably.
