LeBron shows off alma mater’s jerseys LeBron James might not be able to get away with wearing a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey these days, but he has never distanced himself from Nike Kobe 8 Deep Royal high school of St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron, Ohio. That was no different on Sunday, when King James posted a picture on his Instagram account that debuted his alma mater’s newest football uniforms:The LeBron James Family Foundation was doing an event at his alma mater, and part of the event included LBJ modeling some ridiculously cool new Nike uniforms that the King himself donated to all of the school’s fall sports teams.Nike has already been designing the coolest uniforms in college football for years, so why not extend this fashion dominance to high school It’s not like the St. Vincent-St. Mary team is full of chumps, seeing as the Nike free 3.0 V4 took home Ohio’s state championship last season. This was a classy move for LeBron and a savvy one for Nike. You’ve heard it before, but isn’t just seeing LeBron in a football jersey enough to make you wonder what could have been Not to say that he isn’t doing all right on the basketball court, but when he adds a „#IWannaPlayFridayNightLightsAgain“ to the end of his Instagram pic, it pretty easy to get carried away with what would happen if he ever took the field under some Sunday night lights. Would anything force his way back into the hearts of Cleveland fans quicker than signing a contract with the Browns for a season or twoOK, I’ll stop getting carried away now.
