No More Interoperability Issues with eSIMs and Profiles
COMPRION has launched a unique and independent test service. It helps eUICC manufacturers and MNOs by testing real eSIMs and profiles against each other, thus detecting and resolving compatibility issues in time. Due to the recently granted validation of the EMVCo 3.0 PCD digital tests on UT³ Platform, the latter has become the only tool worldwide for all terminal conformance tests at EMVCo Level 1. Comprion First to Offer Validated PSM and eDRX Tests for Mobile IoT Devices
The validation of the PSM and eDRX tests on the Comprion test platform has activated two new GCF work items. The tests become part of GCF certification criteria. The mobile network standardization body 3GPP introduced two new features – PSM (Power Saving Mode) and eDRX (extended Discontinuous Reception) – minimizing power consumption of IoT devices and extending their battery power up to ten years. In IoT applications such as container tracking, intelligent meters, or agriculture sensors, the devices do not need to send or receive data continuously. Validated COMPRION RSP Test Benches Support GSMA SGP.24 RSP Compliance Process
The newly published GSMA SGP.24 RSP Compliance Process V2.0 now requires functional testing by industry certification schemes GCF, PTCRB, and GlobalPlatform. These certifications schemes are referencing validated COMPRION RSP test benches for conformance testing. COMPRION were the first to offer validated tests for the industry.   The GSMA SGP.24 RSP Compliance Process is the framework for proving functional compliance of an RSP consumer product.
