eurolaser scores with automation technology

Exactly 20 years ago, eurolaser GmbH specialised in large-format CO2 laser systems. Today, the Lüneburg-based company with approximately 100 employees is one of the global market leaders in CO2 laser systems for cutting non-metals. The laser cutters are primarily used for acrylic, plastic film, textiles and wood materials.
Just in time for the jubilee, eurolaser is presenting new, innovative developments. Time is money – this declaration is more pertinent now than ever. Considering productive manufacturing processes alone, no path will circumvent this approach. The magic word is automation. With this new automatic shuttle table system, the handling of laser systems is given exponentially simpler design.

Up to 75% more efficiency

The principle is very simple and practice-oriented. Just the press of a button causes that the tables are changed over within a few seconds allowing the laser cutting process to be continued with no downtimes Changeover starts automatically once the cutting process on the second table is completed. The new material is cut automatically while at the same time the operator can unload the finished parts without any interruption in the cutting process. By increasing the efficiency of up to 75%, the investment for this new technology is quickly amortized.
In order to offer the user the most possible flexibility, the modular design of the laser systems makes it possible to utilise mechanical tools parallel to the laser. The customer can avail of the entire high quality tool range produced by Zünd Systemtechnik AG of Switzerland. In addition to milling tools, countless knives and scoring, marking and stamping tools are available. This provides the ideal opportunity to combine the advantages of different processing methods – all on just one machine.

Customer service of the future

Another innovation concerns eurolaser’s customer service. With the remote diagnosis tool „Watchdog“, the Lüneburgers are taking a whole new approach. The client can always keep an eye on all major functions of the laser system without standing directly by the machine. With this remote diagnosis, service operations can be better supported and malfunctions can be repaired more quickly. This means that time will potentially be spared, idle periods will be minimised and unnecessary costs will be avoided.
A lot of innovation for the 20-year anniversary. The eurolaser GmbH team can be found at the Viscom in hall 3.0 at stand E90.
