As a peasant agricultural country that seeks to transform itself into modern agricultural and industrialized economy, the „agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa 2013″ international show should be seen as a significant contributor to achieving sustainable development.“

„As many of our customers have production sites here, Merck established a branch in Ghana just in 2013“, said Mr Willi Moor, General Chemicals Manager – Merck. Moor further: „It“s not just only the presence of the global players in Ghana that makes this market so interesting for us, we realised that there are many local producers, who are interested in improving the quality of their products. At agrofood & plastprintpack West Africa we are mainly displaying our solutions in food and beverage analytics as well as in food pigments for food decoration. We are positively impressed about the high quality of the visitors and the great interest in our products.“

The organisers of fairtrade are looking forward to welcome the entire agrofood & plastprintpack industry again for the 2nd edition of West Africa“s new hub in these industry sectors, to be held from 2-4 December 2014 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
